Seventh graders read Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol. We worked with the music teacher and our school show choir, Accent, to hold auditions and rehearsals for A Christmas Carol the Musical. Our crew put up scenery and decorations and organized a canned-food drive while our cast rehearsed lines, songs, dances, and blocking. We had a blast! (2009-2010)

Seventh graders used our laptop lab (COW) and GoogleDocs to write and share their writing with each other. We liked getting feedback from our peers and reading other's writing, too. (2007-2008)

Eighth graders read scary stories and witchy poem for Halloween. Students broke into groups, chose one poem or story to act out, and developed a skit around that story/poem.
